AI is reshaping school communications, but the strongest teams will not be built by tools alone.

In this Lunch & Learn, Trey Boden will guide a discussion around the foundations and tools Marketing/Communications, Admissions, and Development leaders should consider as they reimagine their communications. Together, we will explore the foundations AI tools need to produce and evaluate content. Trey will share his thoughts on existing AI tools that equip EdLeaders to craft content with clarity and confidence.

This session used a ‘LEGO’ brick framework that, when put in place, empowers teams to spend more time crafting, not drafting, content. You will leave with a clearer understanding of what your team needs to consider and build to use AI tools more effectively. Also, Trey will be sharing a suite of practical Claude skills to help you get started.

About Trey: Trey Boden is the Founder and Principal of Roar, an Atlanta-based brand agency that helps organizations take courageous directions through strategy, messaging, identity, and marketing support.

A longtime friend of The Collaborative, Trey also serves as the Shared Service Provider for MessagingEQ, a strategic marketing and communications framework designed to help Christian schools clarify their brand promises, strengthen their storytelling, and align admissions, development, and marketing teams around a shared message.

With more than a decade of experience in education, branding, creative direction, and communications, Trey has worked across education, nonprofit, technology, and other mission-driven sectors. He often serves as a fractional chief brand officer, helping teams clarify their position, build stronger systems, and expand their creative capacity.

Trey is especially passionate about helping teams use emerging tools thoughtfully. His work explores how AI can empower, not replace, the craft of communications and design. He believes schools need a thoughtful AI strategy that equips leaders to navigate change while honoring the people at its center.

He holds a Master of Arts in Transformational Leadership from Bethel University and a Leading for Creativity certification from IDEO U. A husband, father, entrepreneur, and man of faith, Trey believes courage is not the absence of fear, but the willingness to move forward with purpose.
