This service provides Christian school leaders with a comprehensive assessment of their special education capabilities through a structured, empathy-led process designed to meet your school exactly where you are. Dr. Jodi will partner with your school to elevate and refine your approach to servicing and supporting all learners.
Details of the Shared Service:
Part 1: Individual School Assessment
Your school will engage in a personalized 1:1 process with Dr. Jodi Wolkerstorfer that includes three key components:
- Explore the Welcoming Every Student: A Guide to Special Education in Christian Schools eBook to establish a shared understanding of best practices.
-
Complete the detailed intake form, sharing your school’s current special education capabilities and needs. This will activate your Shared Service.
-
Participate in a 90-minute SWOT Analysis Review via Zoom, facilitated by Dr. Jodi, to look at your school’s strengths, challenges, and opportunities, followed by an after-action report with actionable next steps.
Part 2: Special Education School Readiness Profile PD Experience
Schools completing Part 1 are invited to join a cohort of fellow Christian school leaders at the same stage of implementation for a 3-hour in-person professional development session. You’ll be equipped with a personalized “School Readiness Profile” and a strategic “Special Education Action Plan” and given concentrated work time with Dr. Jodi, your internal special education team, and other Christian school leaders to learn and take next actionable steps together to move your Special Education Programming forward.
Dr. Jodi will share the date/time of this experience with you after Part 1 is activated.
Part 3: Ongoing Coaching, Support, & Accountability
Engage with your team at your school in accountability check-in Zoom meetings with Dr. Jodi for coaching and support. Be equipped with strategies to continue moving the “Special Education Action Plan” forward in your school and have concentrated work time with Jodi, your internal SPED team, and fellow Christian school edleaders who are immersed in this work!
Your school will be invited to an in-person “Special Education Working Session” with other Collaborative Member Schools who are on this journey, too. Dates will be announced to you personally via email throughout your experience.
The Collaborative Team and Dr. Jodi are strategically exploring what comes next for our Member Schools engaged in this Shared Service. We will have more to share with you all in Q2 of 2026.
