Kirsten Beard brings more than two decades of experience in admissions, beginning her career in admissions at Atlanta Girls’ School in 2004 before joining Mount Vernon in 2012. At Mount Vernon, she has led significant school-wide enrollment growth, expanding the student body from 800 to more than 1,230 students through data-informed strategies and thoughtful enrollment planning. Grounded in a design-thinking approach, Kirsten has developed an intentional and highly personalized admissions process that reflects the school’s mission and values. She is especially proud of the collaborative admissions team she leads and the seamless, welcoming experience they create for prospective students and families.
